Job Overview:

Managing and executing financial transaction processes, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with organizational procedures.

Primary Responsibilities

Cash Disbursement:

• Handle cash disbursement processes, including creating vouchers, obtaining signatures, and recording transactions on Google Sheets.

Cash Receipt:

• Manage cash receipt processes by categorizing received amounts, creating and signing vouchers, and recording data on Google Sheets.

Salary Disbursement:

• Prepare, deposit, and disburse employee salaries, ensuring accurate amounts and obtaining employee signatures.

Cheque Preparation:

• Prepare cheques by verifying amounts, obtaining necessary signatures, and coordinating bank transactions.

Reporting:

• Collect and consolidate financial data for accurate reporting of receipts and disbursements.

Required Skills

• Time Management: Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Customer Focus: A proactive approach to understanding stakeholder needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with team members and across departments to achieve common goals.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for interacting with finance and non-finance personnel alike.
• English Proficiency: High command of the English language, necessary for reporting and communication tasks.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience in handling cash disbursements and receipts.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets and financial tools.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
