What You'll Do:
Your primary focus will be on managing the operational aspects of translation projects, coordinating resources, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of translations. You will work closely with project managers, translators, and other team members to optimize workflows and ensure efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to:
- Vendor Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with localization vendors, overseeing effective communication, collaboration, and performance management.
- Talent Selection and Onboarding: Identify and evaluate potential localization vendors, conduct due diligence, negotiate contracts, and manage the onboarding process.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure vendor performance, regularly assessing and evaluating their quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
- Financial Management: Collaborate with the finance team to review, and manage talent's invoices, ensuring compliance with service level agreement (SLAs) and contractual obligations.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce robust quality assurance processes to ensure accurate and culturally appropriate translations, adhering to established quality standards.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and enhance localization workflows, tools, and technologies to improve efficiency, scalability, and cost[1]effectiveness.
- Issue Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for vendor-related escalations, addressing and resolving any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Performance Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in vendor performance and propose and implement corrective actions, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, talents, operations, and sales, to ensure seamless integration of localized content into our products and services.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to the talent management team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and professional growth.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Very Good to Excellent English skills.
- +1 year of experience in vendor management in the translation/localization field is preferable OR 1-2 years of experience in the call center field.
- MUST have experience in managing a team whether as a team lead or a delegate for a shift.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
